Chained Garden

During the confinement of Covid-19 I decided to dedicate my self to gardening in my apartment, cultivating the images of others. Within this job I lingered in thoughts about the world, yearning to be close to the earth again.

 

Chained Garden is a quote from John Cage´s poem "mushrooms et variationes".The poem was composed in 1972 and it was inspired by the "renga", a genre of Japanese poetry that is written by more than one author. The word renga means "chained song".
